Ingrid formed Savvy Mom on Call™ in 2009, a bilingual baby planning, consulting and concierge business based in Fairfield, Connecticut. She serves families in Connecticut, New York City and beyond. Most recently, she formed Savvy Mami TV™, a bilingual online web tv show that interviews parents, practitioners, authors, product designersin the maternity, baby, toddler and tween industry. The consulting, concierge and web tv show were created to educate and connect families with the many wonderful options that are available to them all over the world.
Ingrid knows that there is not just one way to prepare or raise a child, nor is there just one type of resource or service available. Through her baby planning, consulting and concierge services and pre and post natal stress management coaching™ techniques, she will eliminate the stressors that go along with the many decisions families need to prepare for a new family member and the obstacles that come after.
Ingrid was born in Guatemala but was raised in New York and is fluent in Spanish. She received a bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies from St. John’s University and a master’s degree in International Affairs from The New School. She has more than ten years of finance experience, is a Certified Stress Management Coach, a CertifiedBaby Planner, a Certified Educator for Dunstan Baby Language and The Happiest Baby on the Block programs. Ingrid is also the Co-President and a Baby Planner Educator of the International Academy of Baby Planner Professionals. Lastly, she is the Director of Operations for CT City Mommy.
Ingrid enjoys life with her husband and son in Fairfield, Connecticut and is expecting baby number two in February, 2011. In her spare time, she loves to travel, cook, dance, read and sing.
Ana Anselmo, CBP [IABPP] is founder and CEO of Baby Planners Brazil.
After 16 years working in the biggest publishing company and producing events for magazines such as Elle, Home Decor, and many others, Ana Anselmo accepted the challenge to work in the sport channel ESPN. There she followed many sports events like the World Cup, the Olympic Games, etc. She worked there for 8 years.
She has a Bachelor’s degree in Administration with a wealth of experience in the marketing industry. With her resume new challenges appears and she was invited to work in the International Health, Racquet & Sportsclub Association – IHRSA/Fitness Brazil Latin American Conference & Trade Show.
After that she came to the USA and stayed for two years, working with some celebrities. When she returned to Brazil she was invited to work in the Mattel toys company where she discovered the Baby Industry and the huge possibility to work, enjoy and prosper. It was passion at first sight!
When her contract with Mattel finished, she decided to enroll in the IABPP Baby Planner Professional Course. Upon completing her baby planner certification with IABPP, she made the decision to leave her full-time job to pursue her baby planning career in Brazil with her partner Viviane. Within a couple of months, word spread like wild fire in Brazil and she found herself and her partner on a plane to meet potential clients and business owners. Both met with hospitals, maternity retailers, and expecting clients. Their calendars began filling up very quickly and within six weeks, not only both were busy with clients, but the number one newspaper in Brazil ran a full cover story on their business.
